2nd and 3rd weekends in October 10 am - 4 pm
Harvest Fair is a wonderful family-friendly event focusing on sharing the fruits of the harvest with all of our customers. Join us in the pumpkin patch where the kids will find one favorite pumpkin after another. Kids can participate in several activities throughout the day but must sign up for the various activities at least one half hour before the event is scheduled.
The local artisan fair highlights musicians and vendors willing to share their talents in the stage area near the farm store. These events have free admission for our customers. Face painting, henna skin art, jewelry, baby gifts, fresh produce, caramel apples, cider, and pumpkin pie are among the many items you will find when you explore the vendor booths. We encourage you to take a few minutes to relax and listen to the talented musicians while enjoying a treat. The stringed apple bob and pie eating contests are open to children and adults enjoying the artisan fair. Only a few of the vendors will be able to accepts card so please bring cash or local check with ID for this event.
Straw Town is a wonderful walking adventure. If you need some assistance or want a different experience, hop on a mule-drawn wagon or the vintage fire engine to get closer to many of the activities. Straw Town features a straw-bale maze, straw jump, pyramid, grain play pit, obstacle course, giant teddy bear, many games, and the farm animal petting zoo.
Admission to Straw Town is $10 per person or $30 for a family of up to 2 responsible adults and 3 children. Infants are welcome to join their family for free.
The animals in the petting zoo get a lunch break from 12-1pm. During this time we have a chance to feed and water the animals, to check them over for injuries, and allow them to calm down after all of the attention in the morning. Please plan your visit to Straw Town accordingly.
Pony rides for children are available near the petting zoo for an additional charge.
Don't forget to sign up for the stringed apple bob, treasure hunt, greased pig contest, rooster run, and pie eating competition near the entrance to Straw Town.
Plan for the weather and your safety on the farm. We encourage you to wear sunscreen, close-toed shoes, long pants, a long-sleeved shirt, and a hat.
Bring recyclable bags. If you are planning on purchasing smaller pumpkins, reusable shopping bags are great for packing them to the car.
If you have a wagon, please consider bringing it. We have very few carts to transfer pumpkins from the patch.
Please carpool, if possible. We ask that you leave your pets at home.
There is absolutely no smoking on the farm.
